By Toleeraph- Press Association. Christohurch, January 1. In the junior grade match Wellington batted first and made 199 (Burt, 102 not out; Carey, 35; M. Warwick, 22). City and Suburban replied with 39 and 53 for the two innings. For Wellington, Barr, with six wickets for 12 rune, and Reeve, six for 24, were the best bowlers. The visiting teams were much superior to the local lads in every way.
