Vernon Lovegrove, electrician at tho Cold Storage of tho Port of London Authority in Charterhouse Street, E.C., was lined £10 at the Guildhall for leaving unscreened lights on tho top floor of the premises, n In tho parish of Edlesborough, near Diinstabln, with about 450 inhabitants, tho ladies' comraitteo of tho British Red Cross, has during tho last 12 months mado more than 500 garments and raised upwards of £170.
