NEW YEAR RAILWAY ARRANGEMENTS
The Railway Department, in order io meet tho convenience of those wishing to visit tho seaside, has arranged that on Monday. .l:muary 1, trains will leave Thoriidon for Paekakariki and intermediate stations at 8.43, 9.55, and 10.20 a.m., and for Plimmerton only at n.25 a.m.- Return trains leave Paekakariki at 5.15, 6.15, and 6.40 p.m.. Plimmerton at 4.30, 5.43, 6.42, and 7.12 p.m. • On the same date intending visitors to the Hutt lino will be catered for by trains leaving Lambton for Upper Hutt and intermediate stations at 9.15, 9.43, 10.15 a.m., and 1.30 p.m. Return trains leave Upper Hutt at 4.49, 5.15, (5.25, and 8.25 p.m., Lower Hutt af 4.55, 5.2?,, 5.56 5 7.6, and. 9.19 p.m. $
