ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A TAXI SMASH. In Customhouse Qua;? on Saturday night a tuxicab containing a driver ar d three passengers collided with another taxi which was standing in the road being Repaired. The car was unlightcd on account of a breakdown in the machinery. Both cars wero badly damaged, but the driver escaped, injury. One of the passengers received a cut 011 the head, another a bad cut near the mouth, and the third was scratohcd on the cheek. The first two received treatment at the Hospital, and subsequently wont to tneir homes.
A lad named Roy Tonks, residing in Frevbui'" Street, Lvall Bay, was riding Fnivbwg Street, Lyall Bay, was Tiding l)irnie on Saturday morning, "lien a wheel of the cycle caught in the tramline, and the boy was thrown hi'avilj, sustaining a fracture of the left arm. Ho was taken to the Hospital for treatment
