An Italian official roport states: "In the region of the Asolone front, eastward of Brenta, wo recaptured a considerable portion of the ground lost on Tuesday. Mr. Ward Price says the capturo of Monto A'solono is unwelcome news, but it is not highly important. It takes tho enemy another step towards outflanking MountG rappa, and also gives tho enemy a direct view of tho Gorge of San Lorenzo, enabling him to 6hell tho Italian communications. ENEMY OFFENSIVE ■■ DELAYED PLANNED TO BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER. (Rec. December 23, 5.5 p.m.) 1 Amsterdam, December 21. In the Reichsrath the Minister of War said tho offensive in Italy had been delayed owing to Czechs' treachery. It had been planned to begin in September, but there was a suddon Italian attack near Carcano, resulting in the whole of the first lino being lost, duo to a Czoch lieutenant betraying all tho positions.
