Barometer rise everywhere soon. Atmospheric pressure has decreased considerably since last evening, and freshening northerly and westerly winds have prevailed. Gloomy conditions have overspread the Dominion, and rain has fallen to-day in many parts in and southward of Cook Strait. " 1). C. BATES, Director.
