BRITAIN'S CALL FOR MEN
NEW AND DRASTIC PROPOSALS COMMENTED UPON. (Rco. December 20, 0.30 a.m.) London, December 18. The "Manchester Guardian" believes that the new man-power proposals are so drastic that the Government might feel unablo to enforce them without an appeal to the country. The ' Guardian" hiuts that the King might prefer to try a reconstruction of the Ministry instead of accepting advice for a dissolution. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
