'Weather cold, unsettled, and showery generally, bat niiavy tah may be expect >d m the northern and yast Coast districts of the North Island. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency in tho north. The storm area in tho north has intensified somewhat to-day, and high souther, ly windß, squally and showery conditoionß have jrevdiled along the Eabt Coast, and about Cook Strait.
