Sanders, Junr., of this City, is one of the best-known taxi-drivers in the Province. After six years' experience, during which he has owned .four Wolseley cars, a Siddeley-Deasey and a Clement-Bayard, his latest .purchase is v a Studebaker Six, and in the following letter he gives the reasons for his choice :— Messrs. Adams Ltd. Christchurch, ■>■■■'- Hew Zealand Importers of Studebaker Motors, Oct. 25,1917. Christchurch. . Dear Sire,— In reply to your inquiry as to why I 'selected a Studebaker Six as the best car on the market for hire service, I may say that in my judgment no other car on the inarkot offers all the necessary features, such as absolute reliability, great strength and durability, economy of running cost, ease of driving, and so forth, at anything liko the aamo price. After four months' experience of my Studebaker Six, I can honestly say that. I am more than eatisfled with my investment. The oar is thoroughly reliable, remarkably easy on tyres, and a champion on the hills. Tho seating accommodation is ample, and the detachable and reversible front seats are a great convenience. The electric starting and lighting equipment is aplendid, and a very fine feature is that the oar oan very easily be kept clean. She is especially easy to drive, the balance with a full load being perfect. In a recent tonr over the worst hill oountry of the Wellington district the car gave evsry satisfaction, completing a difficult journey without a single stop. I would sooner drivo a Studebaker, from the point of view of the comfort ol myself and passengers, than any high-grade English car of which I'have had experienoe.-PaithMly yours, (Signed) C. W. SANDIHS. , PRICES: Touring and Roadster Models—4-cylinder, £425; 6-cylinder, £495 Fitted with Electric Lights and Electric Self-starter, and equipped with "Dixie" Waterproof Magneto. ADAMS LTD.
