The Star Boating Club will make a start on Saturdny with the first club races of tlio season, the event being tlio Trial Pairs. Following are the drawings:— First Round. —First heat, Mason v. Oborn; second heat, G'orrigan v. Gamble. All other crews a bye. Second Hound. —First heat, Marns v." Gibbons; second heat, Howan v. Millward; third beat. Deverall v. Moss: fourth heat, Simm v. winner 01 second heat, first round; fifth heat, M'Gotv.ui v, winner of first heat, first round; sixth heat, Unham v. Chatfield; seventh heat, Jieid v. Gasquoine, eighth heat, Coats v. M'Milkn. It is hoped that the final may be rowed beforo the Christmas holidays.
