MR. MASSEY IN THE NORTH

By Telegraph—Press Association Thames, December 13. Tlie Prime Minister (Right Hon. W. F. Massey) visited Ngatea to-day and opened a new bridge over the Piako River. A large i crowd of settlers and visitors attended, also local bodies. The function was a great success. Mr. Massey was entertained at luncheon by the County Council, and subsequently received several deputations urging local wants. In the evening Mr. Massey came to Thames, and was entertained at dinner by the Borough Council. _ Subsequently lio received a deputation. He will leavo in the morning for Auckland.
