Ltd., report that, at their weekly stock sale, held at Levin yards on Tuesday, they offered a small entry of aheep, and a good yarding of cattle to a good attendance of buyers. Quotations :-Fair mixed shorn hoggets, 265. 3d.; 2-year steers, £9 155.; 15 18-rnonths steers, £7 7s. to £8; forward-condition cows, £8 ss. to £9 175.; good store cows, £7 2a. to £7 10s.; empty heifers, £1 155.; weaner steers, £2 7s. 6d. to £3 2s. 6d.; dairy cows, £8 10s. to £9; line of good epringinc heifers, £10;, fat bulls, £11 7s. 6d. to £13 £9. oa. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report haying offered, a small yarding of aheep and cattle at their Ltiin yards on Tuesday, when the following prices were realised:—Forward ewes and wethers, 275. Id.; m.s. 2-tooth, wethers, to 245,; ™ , n'l 1 ' ColTa ' t0 "»■; weaner steers, £2 to £3 25.: weaner heifers.to 425. 6d.' young bulls, £5 101.
