At a large and representative meeting of sheep-farmers of Wairoa yesterday it was resolved that a strong protest be made to the Prime Minister, as Minister in charge of the Department of Imperial Government Supplies, against the basis of valuation of seedy wools, which it is,claimed is totally at variance with the agreement (made with the Imperial Government when the New Zealand clip was sold, the particular, grievance being the enormous deduction made to cover the present cost .of extracting seed.
