FROM THE BOWLERS. Mr. J. ,J. Roberts, secretary of the Wellington Bowling Centre, informed a Dominion representative on Saturday that tho bowlers' contribution to the Soldiers' Christmas Gift Fund would amount to £700, which is considered to be a very handsome contribution to tho recent effort of the sports' bodies, whose fund now amounts to well over £3000.
