ORDER OF DRUIDS

The monthly meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter, No. 4, U.A.0.8., was held in the No. 2 committee room of the Town Hall on Wednesday night, R.A.D. Bro. A. Norris presiding, assisted by R.V.A. Bro. Tullett. There was a good attendance of members. One member of the Order was admitted to the First Degree of the Chapter. After.many years' excellent service as Royal Arch Secretary and Treasurer, P.D.P. Bro. W. Crombie tendered his resignation, which was accepted with ueep regret. P.D.P. Bro. J. Johnstone, on behalf of the Chapter, presented Bio. Crombie with a past secretary's jewel as a slight recognition of the valuable services rendered by him to the Chapter and the Ordnr generally. Bro. Crombie feelingly responded. P.D.P. Bro. T. G. Sarjea'r.t (Coronation Lodge), who has had many years' experience in the affairs of the Order, was elected to the dual positicyi, and P.D.P. Bro. P. J. Miillins was elected minute secretary. The new officers will be duly installed at thu next regular meeting of the Chapter. P.D.P. Bro. J. .Tohnstoiie read a paper ably compiled by him on the question of superannuation for financial members of the Orclor. Tlip. matter was freely discussed, and further discussion was postponed until the next meeting to be held in February.
