" Sheep (1310 ponned).—The offering included a few pens of extra primo woolly ewes and wethers. Tho sale oponed at about last week's rates, and shorn sheep hardened Is. per head. Best woolly wethers, 575. (id.; best .woolly owes, 595.; medium weight woolly wothers, 465. to 485.; others, ■435. to 465.; best shorn wothers, 425.; medium, 365. to 40s. Lambs (115 penned).—l'heso sold on a par with last week's rates. There was a very large yarding of pigs, and prices showed a. declino of about 10s. The Efficiency Board Trustees, Wheat Committeo, and mill-owners met in Alasterton, says our correspondent, to endeavour to arrire at a satisfactory End definite system of charges for thrashing work. Tho mill-owners urged that the whole of the thrashing mills in the Wairarapa bo taken over by the Efficiency Board, and run by them to I the best advantage, but the trustees considered the order too big for them to tackle. The question of charges was also discussed, and it was finally decided that a further meeting be held i •in Carterton on Saturday, December : 15th. ' I
