Tho folloiviug races were decided at tho Public Tepid Swimming Baths on Friday evening:— 33 l-3yds. Free Style Handicap (confined to juniors o5 Boys' Institute). — Final: G. Burton, feec., 1; W. Patterson, scr., 2; 11. Sneddon, 2sec., 3. Also started: Barlow, Gsec. 33 l-3yds. Free Stylo Handicap (confined to intermediates of boys' Institute). —First heat: D. Chandler, 2sec., 1; P. Barrow, lsec., 2. . Also started: N. Robertson, 7«ec.; G. Edwards, 7scc. Second heat: C. Ross, 4sec., 1; G. Gill, scr., 2. Also started: A. Clark, 3sec.; R. Alexander, Gsec. .Final: C. Ross, 4sec., 1; P. Barrow, 2sec., and D. Chandler, 2sec. (dead heat), 2. Also started: G. Gill, scr. 33 l-3yds. Free Style Handicap (open to all-comers). —First heat: A. Tarrant, scr., 1; C. Ru6tcrholz, ssee., 2. Also started: A. Ross, 3sec. Second heat: H. Holmes, ssee., 1; H. Anderson, lsec., 2. Also started: P. Coleman, 3sec.; W. M'Cill, scr. Final: 11. Holmes, iisec., 1; 11. Anderson, lsec., 2; C. ssec., 3. Also fitarted: A. Tarrant, scr. A great race, inches separating the four competitors. The races which have been held at the baths during the year have now been concluded. The points for the W. P. Sommerville gold medal are as follow:—A. H. Tarrant. 26 points (winner (if gold medal); H. Anderson, 2(1 points (second prize).;' A. Ross, 16 points (third prize); W. M'Gill, 13 points; R. Pearcy, 13 points: C. Rusterholz, 11 points; H. Holmes, 11 ■ points; P. Coleman, 9 points; S. Dempster, 8 points; H. Greenfield, 7 points: A. Claridge, 6 points; B. O'Neil. 6 points: W. .Thomas, 3 points: C. Claridfre, 3 noints; K..,Gihson, S. Butler, and A. Thomson, 1 point each. A gold medal is also awarded to the boy who starts and finishes tin the greatest number of races during the season. It is. not. essential that a boy should win any race, the medal being purely an attendance one. One point is awarded for each race participated in. The following points were won for the season:—C. Rnsterholz, 23 points (winner of gold medal), 1: A: Rose and R. Pearcy, 22 noints /"jch. 2; A. Tarrant. 21 points.' 3:. V.. Coleman, 19 points; W. M'Gill. 18 points; L. Barker, 18 points: S.
