A PROPOSED TREATY
DRAFTING ALLIED SUBJECTS FOR MILITARY SERVICE. (Rec. December 2, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, December 2. Mr. W. M. Hughes (Federal Premier) approves tho principle of the proposed reciprocal treaties between America and the Allies, whereby each country may draft for military service all Allied subjects within its boundaries. In tho event of the proposals being carried, tho Commonwealth will certainly od-operate with the Allies in them.—Press Assn.
