NOTJRSE LINE ABSORBED. London, November 28. The P. and 0. Company lias purchased the James Nourse line of steamers, trading between Calcutta and the Pacifio Islands.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [The Nourse line consists of six steamers: Betwa (3800 tons), Chenab (3549 tons), Ganges (3497 tons), Megna (5603 tons), Mutlah (3499 tons), and the Sutlej (3549 tons).]
