Feildlng Notes. On Friday and Saturday the Girls' Clnb held a'large fair, in the Dril Hall, in aid of various patriotic funds. The stalls wore laden with sweets, plain and fancy sewing, cakes, produce, and paintings. .There ( was a large Christmas tree, with all kinds of beautiful tovs. The winners of the numerous competitions were: Mesdaroes Harrison, Roberts, Bradley, Fisher Thomson (Auckland), Graham, Gray, Humphries, Knight, Dewe, Misses Mathews, Davenport Conway. Abb.s , Foster, Messrs. Bailey, Rnshton, Unduers Miers, Mills, Newman, Smith, Ingt and Dγ' Phillips. On Saturday night a motor procession led the way to the hall, largo numbers of people appearing in.fancy dress.
