OMARUNUI ESTATE LAND SALE
Messrs. Hoadley, Soil, and Stewart, Ltd., of Napier, had a crowded attendance at their sale rooms on Tuesday afternoon, when they offered at auction the late Hon. J. D, Ormond's Omarunui Estate in 14 subdivisions. Bidding for several of the blocks was spirited and satisfactory prices were realised. The passed in lots were disposed of privately immediately after the sale and a clearance of the whole estate effected. Detailed particulars are as follow:— Lot 1, containing 64 acres, to A. A. Twogood at £44 10s; per acre. Lot 2, containing 61 acres, to A. A. Twogood at £44 10s. per acre. Lot 3, containing 70 acres, to A. A. Twogood at £45 10s. per acre. Lot 4, containing 62 acres, to H. Heeney at £40 per acre. Lot 5, containing 63 acres, lo Mrs, Harrison at £35 per acre. Lot 6, containing 59 acres, to Mrs. Harrison" at £35 per acre. Lot 7, containing 38 acres, to Mrs. Harrison at £20 per acre. Lot 8, containing 103 acres, to Mrs. Harrison at £15 per acre. Lot 9, containing 125 acres, to Mrs. Harrison at £27 per acre. Lot 10, containing 259 acres, to Mrs. Harrison at £24 per acre. Lot 11, containing 40 acres, to 11. A. ltussell at £33 per acre. Lot 12, containing 37 acres, to H. A. ltussell at £29 per acre. Lot 13, containing 34 acres, to Mrs. Harrison at £23 per acre. Lot 14, containing 552 acres, to M. H. Strnchan at £22 per acre.
