BLACKBALL COLLIERS. The movements of tho Blackball Conl Company's three colliers are as follow:— The Ngakuta will arrive early this morning from Greymouth with a full load of coal for Wellington. She will snil tomorrow night for Greymouth. The Ngatoro will leave Greymouth tomorrow morning, fully laden, for Wellington. The vossel will return to Greymouth on Thursday night. Tho Ngahere will go on the Slip to-day for cleaning and pninting and minor ro • pairs. She will sail for. Greymouth on Wednesday. ROSAMOND TAKES TRANSHIPMENTS. The Rosamohd left Gisborne on Saturday night direct for Wellington, and Is duo hero to-day. Tho vessel will take in transhipments only at this port, and will sail to-night direct for Dunedin. CANOPUB ARRIVES. Tho Westport Coal Company's Canopus was an unexpected arrival in port last night from Westport. She brought a full cargo of coal, for discharge hore, and wui sail to-morrow night for Westport to load for Lyttelton. UNION COMPANY COLLIERS. Tho Komata arrived last night from Westport. A full cargo of coal will be put, out here, and the vessel will sail on Wednesday for Westport. Tho Waipori arrived on Saturday with a cargo of coal from Westport. The Karamu will arrive this morning from Greymouth with a cargo of coal to discharge at Jfiraraar. She will return to tho coast to-morrow night.
MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. On a Union Company's Bpecial scrvico steamer the following changes in tho perBound of tho officers have taken place:— Mr. J. Plowman, first offlocr, has como ashore, and Mr. D. M'Donald iai succeeded him. Mr. 0. P. G. Taylor, radio telegraphist, haß joined the vessel. Mr. D. Moffat,-third engineer, has left tho vessel. Messrs. J. O- Beynolds and P. Corkillhavc ligned on as eighth, and ninth, engineers respectively. Captain Bono arrived in Wellington from Christchurch by the Maori yesterday morning. Captain Post and Mr. M'Phcrson, of tho Transport Board, arrived in Wellington yesterday morning from Dunedin. Mr. H. M'Gleaohle, second officer on the Putiki, has signed oil and Mr. P. Trcvethick has been engaged. Mr. Peter M'Nichol has joined the Putiki as third engineer, relieving Mr. H. 0. Clark, who has come ashore. Mr. G. P. Finlaj'eon has joined the Putiki as sceond engineer. Mr. R. Knox, chief engineer of the Mararoa, has come ashoro on leave. The Baden Powell arrived yesterday from Wangjnui, and, to-day, the Wellington Steamship Company advise, will sail at 5 p.m. for Wanganui and New Plymouth. Cargo for Lyttelton will not bo received by the Maori to-day, as she will go into dock at Lyttelton to-morrow for cleaning and painting, and at. tho same time to have her annual survey completed. She will come out of dock the same day to resume her time-table running. A Dunedin exchange states that tho collier Kowhai will load at Greymouth early this week for Lyttelton and Wellington. Owing to the scarcity of labour on the waterfront on Saturday the Calm was unable to complete her loading for Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin. She will sail this afternoon for those ports. The Defender arrived at Wellington on Saturday morning with a full load of timber from Hokitika. She will go to tho Miramar Wharf to-day for discharge, and will sail probably tO-morrow night for Picton and Hokitika. The Kahu should arrive at any ,hour now from Ginborne, via coast, where 6he has been loading wool. The Wootton sailed on Saturday at noon for Lyttelton, where she will load for Wellington, returnine here on The vessel will seil for the southern port on the following day. The Putiki sailed on Saturday nielil for Wangnnni. and is due back to-morrow. She will sail for southern ports in the evening. At 11 o'clock this morning a meeting of the committee nf the Merchant Service Guild will bo held. The Manourikn arrived about noon on Saturday from West Const norts and Nrisonfl Her trip to the West Coast, on Tnesdav will be abandoned this week so as to allow the vessel to enter the Wellineton-Picton-Nelson service on Wednesday-, while the Patecna is undergoing overhaul at Wellington. The sailinc time of the Mapourika is noon, forty-five mjnutes earlier than that of the Pateena. The Mapourlk* will nevt sail for the West Coast on Tuesday, November 27.
