When the campaign ended the British Government sold at auction all surplus motor-cars, but ordered that all Hupmobiles should bo retain, ed in service. More than that, several hundred move Hupmobiles have since boon ordered for military use. This distinguished service of the Hupp in the gruelling work of African warfare is proof of this car's groat stamina.
