There was a good demand for dry sheep, especially shorn wethers and hoggets, but ewes and lambs were 6low of sale. Fat lambs sold well, prices being a little higher than at the prerijus sale, but the quality was better. Heavy weight fat cattle were easier, and tluro was a decline it fat sheep valuer, cwin'' to the supply being somewhat Lvyond butchers' requirements. Store cattle were barely up to'late rates, but wellgrown and forward sorts sold well. Figs were: in fair demand, at. slightly easier rates for fats, and stores, except email sorts, sold well. Store Sheep.—4 and 6-tooth dry ewes, 365. 6d ; eou.nd month, 255. Id.; ewes and lambs, all counted, 17s. to 20s. fid.; civo hoggets, 375. Fat Lambs.—Prime lambs, 275. 6d. to 30s. fld.i lighter, 245. to 27s 3d.
