Dunedin, November 14. At Burnside there were large entries of ,fat cattle. The quality was exceptionally good. The entry exceeded requirements, and prices declined 10s. to 15s. a head. Extra prime bullocks ,£2B 10s.; prime > £20' to £23 10sv medium • £17 to £19 55.. light £13 to prime cows and heifers ,£ls 10s. to £19 2s. Gd., medium JBI3 -10s. io'£l4 155., light .£lO ss. tp. £12 2s. 6d. The number of. sheep penned was 1771. The quality was very, ,?ood. . Extra heavy wethers were in keen .demand at last week's Tates, but ewes. Land medium wethers declined Is. a head. Extra prime wethers 60s. !)(!., prima 51s, •t0..565., medium 475. to 495. 6d., light 40s. ,to:46s. 6d.; extra'prime ew'ea-isßs.,.prime 455. io 495.. others 355.; few shorn weth.ers 455., others 325. to 475. There were Ofl lambs penned. The quality was very fair. The entry was equal to •'butchers' requirements. Prime 265. to 28s. 6d., others 235. to 255. There was a large yarding of pigs. For' fats prices were easier. Stores were in short supply, and last,week's extreme prices were exceeded.
