ABOLITION OF PENNY POSTAGE
SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED BY BRITISH POSTMASTER-GENERAL. (Rec. November 13, 8.30 p.m.) London, November 13. The Postmaster-General (Mr. Illingworth), in a speech at London, said he hoped that the abolition of the penny postage would be avoided, though he had seriously considered it moro than once since his assumption of office.—Renter.
