WOMAN GOES OVER PRECIPICE. By Teleeraph—Prosa Association. Napier, November 12. Th'ero ma a shocking occurrence at the Bluff Hill to-day, when Mrs. M'Gibbon, wife of a Dannevirko bank manager, cither jumped or slipped oyer a 300-foot precipico on to the Breakwater Road. She had Tecently lost a son at the front, and had been missing from her hotel sinco the early morning. Death was instantaneous. ■ This is the eeoond death at_that point since the war commenced, the previous accident being about a year whon a young girl, under the delusion tn.it she was being pursued by Germans, jumped over the cliff.
