INTESTINAL WORMS IN SHEEP

-Directions as to treatment for intestinal worm (Strengths contortis) in sheep were recently givpn by the assistant sheep and wool expert; of the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Stock. The sheep should be drenched with a mixture consisting: of 2oz. arsenic (98 per cent.), 61b. of Epsom salts, and 5 gallons of water. This mixture should be boiled for at least three-quarters of an hour. r The doses should be:—Grown sheep, s 20z.; two-tooth sheep, ljoz.; weaners, loz. The sheep should be ipenned up at least fifteen hours before being drenched, and should be kept in the yard at least four hours after drenching.
