ME. T. E. COATES TO BE ASKED TO STAND. Br Telcernph—Press Association. Greymouth, November 7. Public meetings called under the auspices of the Laoot-.r Auprvsentatiou Committee held at Blackball and Runanga passed resolutions requesting Mr. P. C. Webb to stand again for tho Grey eeat. A petition signed by tho Mayor of Greymouth, the chairman of the Hnrbour Board, the Chamber of Commerce, the County Council, nnd the president of the Port Watersidors' Union is in circulation asking Mr. T. E. Co.'ites to stand to represent all classes, not one section only.
At the monthly meeting of the Wellington' Labour Representation Committee held in the Trades Hall'last night the following resolution was unanimously carried:—"That this meeting of the "Wellington Labour Representation Committee, whose activities are in close proximity to Parliament, and having closely watched the work performed by Mr. P. C. Webb, M.P., consider that his work has been admirable in the interests of the workers, and heartily congratulate the electors of the Grey in again eelecting him to contest the Parliamentary sent, nnd ?iope that his constituents will return him at the top of the poll."
