Yesterday the wind came from the south, driving chilly showers, alternating with a fino drizzle. Tho sky ivas overcast and tho sun was onlv visible at rare intervals. Present indications are for variable winds, moderate to ctrong 6outherlie9 prevailing. Cool, changeable, and showery weather is to be expected. The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency.
