Currie, on a cbargo of forgery in connection with tho alteration of a railway prifuego tickot, was ordered to bo imprisoned till the rising of tho Court. Albvrt Victor Burrell was charged with placing an obstruction on tho railway line. Without retiring, the jury found accused not guilty, on the ground of ii'sanity at tho timo tho action was committed. Tho Judge committed tho accused to a mental hospital till tho pleasure of tho Minister of Justice was known. Thomas Moffntt, aged GO years, was convicted on a charge of indecency and assaulting a youth of 18. In view of accused's previous good character, a fine of .£25 was inflicted, accused to bo detained for three months or until tho fine was paid. Andrew Townley, a stock dealer, was convicted of failure to keep proper accounts. Sontonce was deferred.
