Tennant has joined the Mararoa as fourth engineer. The Anchor Company's Alexander is due to-morrow from Wanganui, and will sail at 5 p.m. for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth. The I'utiki is due to-day from Wanganui and will sail probably to-night for southern ports. The New Zealand Refrigerating Company's Tainui and Mana will arrive at Wellington to-morrow from Wanganui, and in the afternoon will return to that port,. Cargo will be received by the Mana until 3 p.m. A special meeting of the Waterside Workers' Union will be held to-morrow night at 7.45 o'clock to discuss remits to the conference. . The Huia will sail to-day for Mmtara, returning here at the end of the week. The Ka.ru, which sailed yesterday for Nydia Bay, Lyttelton. and Timaru,Ms due here on Tuesday with produce from the last-named port and Lyttelton. The John is due here on Tuesday from the south, and will sail the same day for Wanganui. , „ . The Hinemoa will leave Onehunga. at 6 a.id to-day for Jffinakau Hoacis# and from there will'proceed to The Brothers Lighthouse and Wellington, arriving here tomorrow. , . , The Baden Powell is due here on Sunday from New Plymouth and Lyttelton, and will sail on Monday for Wanganui. The Paeroa, which has been purchased by the. Hokitika Shipping Company, left Auckland for Hokitika early on Sunday morning. „ . The Ngahere is due at Wellington to-mor-row or early on Friday from Timaru, and will sail the same day for Greymouth to load coal for Wellington. The Defender is due to-raorrow from Hokitika. via. Greymouth. After discharging a cargo of timber, she will sail for Picton and Hokitika. The Wootton is due early this morning from Lyttelton, and will sail at 5 p.m. to-day for that port. 1 The Karamu will sail at noon to-day for Napier. From that port she will go to Westport. The collier Kamo will leave Greymouth this morning for Wellington. The Knkapo arrived last night from Greymouth. Tho vessel lias a cargo of coai and 60,000 ft. of timber to discharge here. She will sail to-morrow nirrht, for Greymouth to amiin load for Wollineton. The Kmnata will sail to-day for Westport to load coal for Wellington. The Ngakuta arrived yesterday aftenwon from Greymouth. An effort will be made to discharge her cargo of coal in time for her to fail to-night for Greymouth, where she will load for Wellington.
