REMAINDER OF THE FIRST DIVISION
The result of tho twelfth ballot under tho Military Service Act was announced in a Gaiotto Extraordinary issued yesterday, containing the names of SOOO reservists drawn from Class A• of the Second Division. This claßs consists of married men without children. It contained 15,252 reservists before the ballot, so that thero is still left a baiajice of ovej" 10,000yolasB A men, estimated to bo sufficient for two reinforcemont. drafts. Tho men drawn in the twelfth ballot will not be required to enter camp before March. 5 next. j Tho Gazette contained also the names of 1500 First Division men, comprising youths who have reached military age within recent months, and also men ivlio for yarious reasons hare not been drawn in earlier ballotß in the, First Division. . The total number of, men drawn in the ballots held under the Military "Ser%'ice Act up to the present timo is 82,474, of which number 77,474. men h'avo been taken from the First Division. The names of the men drawn in Group 5 (Wellington City and Suburbs) and the neighbouring' military districts are as follow
