N.Z. ROWING ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting; of delegates to the. New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association was held last evening. Mr. B. W. M'Villy (Otago) presided, and the following delegates were also presoirt:— Messrs. D. E. Menzies and E. Innes (Auckland), L. L. Partridge (Canterbury), J. E. Widdop (Wellington), Phelp (Otago), A. D. Bayfield (Nekon), J. N. Barnes (Southland), and G. Lauchlan (Wanganui). The report and balance-eheofc were adopted.
The question of holding a championship regatta was considered, and it was resolved not to hold ono at tho present
Eules No. 32 and 33. concerning amateur regattas, were altered to provide that oarsmen and scullers can hold a junior 6tatus for ono season only. Thereafter they "will become seniors. With u view to assisting rowing at thn present time a resolution was pa6sed authorising a monetary grant to ha made. The secretary was instructed to writo to the local associations and obtain their views of the matter.
A donation of £5 se. was voted io the Amateur Sports Bodies' Christmas Gift Fund. !

D. Bayiield; council, Messrs.. R. W. M'Villy (chairman), E. Innes, G. Lauchlan, J. N. Barnes, D. R. Meneies, S. L. Partridge, .and J. E. Widdop; auditor, Mr. G. C. Facho.
