WELLINGTON COLLEGE OLD BOYS' GLOB. The committee of tho Wellington College Old Boys' Cricket Club, in die twenty-first annual report and balancesheet, congratulates members upon the satisfactory financial position, of the club, due 40 a oertain extent to the continued generosity of enthusiastic supporters, who contributed to the funds. The biilwiee at the bank is £7 15s. 3d. Tho playing record of the club was good, especially that of the senior eleven, who succeeded in obtaining third place in tlie championship, being defeated for second place by only one wicket. The junior eleven did not do so well, nowever, owing to shortage of playing members. On account of military duties and calls upon their members by the senior eleven, the juniors experienced great difficulty in obtaining a teani, and werd compelled to default on a couple of occasions. The . senior eleven played nine matches, and were successful in six of them, while the juniors played seven, but only managed to win one. The committee congratulates Messrs. A. Bonald-' son (captain, senior eleven), G. Baker, and Suckling, who have recently enlisted for active service, and wishes them every success and a safe return. Tn addition, several of the younger members intend to ioin the N.Z.EVF. during the cVtiing senson. To Mr. K. H.
