ARE THEY TJP TO DATE? Ever 6inco the recent fighting in Flan' ders, in which the New Zealanders were reported to have lost heavily, casualty lists have been oominir through to New Zealand. Mr. W. H. Field asked the Defence Minister in the House of Representatives yesterday whether these lists were now complete, or whether there were more lists still to come. Sir James Alien said thnt he could not kivo a definite reply. All the lists were dated, and he bejjeved tho lists were complete up to the latest of those dates. He woe unable to Bar whether there had been casualties since then. It did happen that, for reasons unknown to him, cftbleuT&ms containing casualties were delayed, end it lniirht bs that messages earlier than some received regarding this battle were held up. As ; far as he know this casualty lists wers up to date.
