Tho Rev. E. Pnlgrave Davy, Superintendent of the New Zealand Children's Mission, is now in Wellington for the purpose of holding combined missions for young people. This week Newtown is being visited, and meetings arc announced to begin this evening in : the Trinity Methodist Church at 7 o'clock, and to be continued oach evening till Friday. The children's mission is non-sectarian. Teachers and adults generally are invited. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will hold a stock sale at Hiniatangi on November 5. X cattle fair will be held at the Colombo Road yards, Masterton, on November 6 by Messrs. Levin and Co.
