Lieutenant Henry D. Stride, Unattached ETst (b), is granted the- temporary rank of captain whilsE employed as Mounted Rifles instructor, Featherston Camp. Honorary Lieutenant Lewis A. Clements, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is granted the temporary rank of captain whilst employed as assistant camp quartermaster, Peatherston. Camp. Expeditionary Force, is struck off the strength, and is absorbed into the establishment with his original rank and seniority, viz., lieutenant. New Zealand Medical Corps. Major' William Evans, M.R.C.S., Eng., L.E.C.P., Lond., F.R.C.S., Edin.. from the Reserve of Officers to be major, Eldon M. Litchfield, M.R.C.S., Eng., L.R.C.P., Lond., to be temporary captain. • Lieutenant Thomas W. Maben is granted the temporary rank of captain whilst employed a 9 adjutant and quartermaster on a N.Z. hospital ship.

Dental Corps. Major (temporary Lieutenant-Colonel) John N. Eishworth relinquishes the appointment of Director of Dental Services, and the temporary rank of lieu-tenant-colonei whilst so employed.
