/ Of raffles in theso days of war thero is no end, and one of tho latest to arouso tho interest of women, is that of a trousseau which is .to be raffled for tho benefit of The Terraces' Day at the Wellington Red Cross Shop. The trousseau, it is hardly, necessary to say, is one that is likely to excite much competition, as the garments aro of the daintiest description, and of a kind that most women would delight in. It consists of half-a-dozen sets of underclothing, four garments being in each set. Needless to say, they are all hand-sewn, nnd tho work is exquisitely done, whilst the patterns that have been chosen are of tho latest and prettiest kind. In addition, there is a dressing-]'acltet of white voile / trimmed with Valenciennes lace and patterned with little sprigs of embroidered flowers, pale green and doop rose in colour. DANDRUFF AND GREYNESS.. Dandruff is the moat common of all scalp diseases, and once it has made headway is extremely difficult to cure. In the incipient stage, however, it easily yields to treatment. If neglected it invariably produces irritation of the si alp, falling of the hair, baldness, and picmature greyness, while the hair is 'obbsd of its tone, colour, and luxuriance. Mrs. Rolleston advises all who are troubledwith Dandruff to apply Virginian Scalp Food before washing the hair. Price, 3s. Gd. per jar. Posted (plain wrapper), 33. 9d. When Greyness is premature—that is, when it is caused by illness, worry, or a general debilitated state of the systemit may often, by timely care, be entirely arrested, but when greyness >s hereditary it is almost useless to attempt to prevent it by treatmont, and the only means of restoring tho colour is to use a reliable Hair Stain or Hair Restorer.
