* '■yesterday's' meeting. The "Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board met yesterday. 11 r. H. Baldwin presided. It was reported that Nurses Lancaster, Godfrey, and Lav, having completed their training, were leaving. The number of infectious disease cases reported for the month ended October 9 was Oii, the same as in the previous month.
The matter of the appointment of a radiologist was deferred till January or February next. . . Tho appointment of Sister Snggitt was confirmed, and Nurse I<ampp, having completed her four years' training, was appointed Bister. It was resolved:' "That a blind returned soldier be appointed as masseur at tho hospital at a salary of- .£BS per annum if accommodation is found him at the hospital, or, alternately, £150 per annum if he elects to live outside.
