VBV CLEARING STATION. The City Council resolved last evening: "That tho Wellington Dairy Farmers' Co-oper&tivo Association bo informed in reply to their request for an assurance that all. milk coming into the city will go through tho milk station, that the council nntend fo carry out tho provisions of'the law on the matter, and also with regard to their request'that an employes of the association would be permitted! to distribute n, parcel of the association's inilk to their small customers from the milk station, that they be informed."that nn answer cannot, be given to this request until Mr. Oliver takes up Jais duties in Wellington, which will be -within tho course of a few weeks."
: The council also decided: "That the proposal of the .Minister of Public Health to reallocate the expenses of the corporation's milk inspector on the ! basis of the Government and the corporation each paying half salary and each side retainingwhatever revenue isobtained by themselves," be agreed to."
