SPIES SCOUTING FOR U-BOAT VICTIMS
ITALIAN STEAMER SUNK. Athens, October 15. A. German submarine torpedoed the Italian steamer Bari, and also sank several of her lifeboats. Fifty of tho survivors have gone to Corfu and 150 to Italy. Tho Bari contained Greek officials, who wcro coming home via Switzerland and Italy. There is no news of their fate. It is believed that (ho Germans through espionage knew that Hiey wero on board. German espionage is. a'ife in Switzerland.—lleutor.
