STARTLING DISCOVT3BY BY MINESWEEPERS. Sydney, October 15. Fuxtlter mines hnve been discovered off the Australian coast. The Hon. J. Cook has announced that the mine-sweepers operations have revealed the existence of a minefield five miles south of Gobo Island (at the eastern extremity of the coast of Victoria).
