A NATIONAL CAUCUS
PLEDGE OF SUPPORT. A combined caucus of supporters of the National Government in Parliament was held yesterday. Statements on the financial situation were mado by the Prime Minister (the Eight Hon. W. F. Massey), Sir Joseph Ward, and Sir James Allen. After tho statements had been rnadu ,th« following resolution was agreed toi 1 "That the elatcmcnts mado "by Minister# be accepted, and that members of the caucus pledge themselves to stand bythe Government in their financial r ro " posals."
