AITKEN moved the second reading of the Day's Bay Sanitation and Water Supply Bill. He 6aid that the Bill made necessary provision for an area that had become part of the residential portion of the city. s The Bill was put through all its stages «nd passed. 'WELLINGTON CITY. The Hon. J. G. W. AITKEN poved ' the second' reading of the Wellington City Empowering Bill. The Hon. K. MOORE said that Wellington's conditions were exceptional, but the Legislature should always' be cautious about authorising narrow streets and small sections. • ' The Hon. J. BABE said that Wellington's streets were in great need of attention, and the Council ought to-'give all the facilities it could. ' .
