In connection with the Commercial Travellers' Surprise Packet Day, a great ' quantity of goods -was most generouslj . donated -which could not he disposed oi by envelope, as the required number hat already issued. It is the intentior of the club-to dispose of these article; by auction at the Bank of New Zealant corner (Customhouse Quay) at 2.30 p.m to-day. Those who are on the look-ou for bargains in almost any directioi should attend. The proceeds will all h devoted to a fund that is to benefit ou: blind soldiers and sailors.
