"TURN TO THE RIGHT"
Now heading the list of successful New York productions, .having the long-st lun to its credit, and fresh from triumphant ip-iflons in all the Australian centres, "Turn to the Right" will have its premiere in Mew Zealand at the Grand Opera House on Monday evening noxt, when J. and N. Tail's new comcdy company will appear in Winchell Smith and J. L. Hazzard's great success. The company presenting the play will be almost entirely new to the Dominion, and chief amongst the new-comers may be mentioned Mibb Margaret Calvert, wlio plays the white* haired old Mrs. Basoom. As a leading man Mr. Walter ltlohardson made a big impression on the Australian critics, while tne comedy work of the fine American team Wa-Itcr Richardson, John Junior, and Vincent Dennis, has also been greatlypraised. Mr. Gaston Mervale will reappear in one of the leading parts, also acting as producer. An event of interest le the return Of Miss Lizctte Parkes in the irgenue role of Betty Bascom. This artist las always proved a favourite here., Other Australian artists iu tTio cast well known here are Miss Eilcon Sparks and .Miss I'raucee Anderson", while Messrs. Maurice lH , .d!cy, Carleton Stuart, and George Obalmors also return. "Turn to the Right" will be played for the first six nights of the season. The company arc also to produce "The New Henrietta," a comedy-dvama by the same author. The box plan for the first six nights will open at, tho Bristol on Thursday morning.
