POSTER PAGEANT
In our advertising columns particulars are given of "Le Bal Masque Pari6ien," ill conjunction with which a Grand Poster Pageant is to be held in the Town Hall on Wednesday, October 24. This function is being organised by the staffs of the drapery nouses, the proceeds to be devoted to the Citizens' Christmas Gift Fund. The daily papers are offering special trophies for competition, and it is expected that the hall will be'filled with dancers and spectators. Manufacturers, agents, and business houses are requested to arrange for representation in the poster parade. We are informed that already a number of leading business firms have intimated that they will take part.
