A GIFT RECITAL

IN AID OF RED CROSS FUNDS. The grand gift recital to be given in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Saturday afternoon next, at .2 o'clock, in the presence of Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool, promises to be an entertainment of more than ordinary interest. A great teaturo in connection with it is to bo the distribution of really beautiful gifts to all adult patrons. A few of the presents were shown in the Bristol, and there are many hundreds of others of equal value, meluding numerous silver and gold articles. Apart from this attraction, the programme is both an interesting and uncommon one. Mrs. P. J. Nathan s na-. tional fancy Tecitals are to be introduced bv charming fairy ballets, arranged by Miss Estelle Beere. There are to bo some excellent national character dances bv Miss Beere's pupils, and M. Ussipott, who is so favourably known here, is to bo heard in national songs A bright little orchestra, under Mr. Tombs, with Miss Corliss at the piano, will render national items.
