"OUR DAY" APPEAL FOB BED CROSS AND BLIND SOLDIERS' FUND. A. meeting of the Street Collections Committee in connection, with 'Our Day" appeal was held this week in the Mereer Street Red Cross Depot. Present were: Mesdames Lujre (in the chair), Myers, Pearco, Nathan, Tripp, Blundeil, Geddis, Wilford, O'Sullivan, Gibbons, Gamble, Firth, Moorhouse Kose, Corriean, Partridge, Misses Wheeler, Robieson, Nathan, Nurse Everitt, and Mr. Partridge. Mrs. Porter sent an apology for her absence, and notified Mrs. Luke that the Wonion'e National. Reserve would take a stand at the Government Buildings on Our Day, October 18. The Wellington Nureing Centre, Tinder the management of Mesdame3 Moorhouse, Corrigan, and Miss llobieson, will take tne stand at Courienay Place. The Our Day Tearoom is to be in charge of Mesdames Joseph, Elliott, and Firth. Stallholders are asked to notify Mr. Partridge ae soon as possible whether they need hand-carts or stalls for October 18. Woodward Street is being worked in conjunction with the stand at Messrs. Kirkcaldie's, which is under Mrs. HallThompson and the Navy League, assisted by Mrs. Gibbons and her committee. .Nurse Everitt is working in conjunction with the Women's National Reserve.
